• Amplitudes: Stories of Queer and Trans Futurity, “MoonWife” (Penguin Random House) - A digital medium digs up a ghost for her client... and discovers something unexpected. Edited by Lee Mandelo.

Nonfiction

Best essay:

• Absolute Pleasure: Queer Perspectives on Rocky Horror, “Sweet Transgression” (Feminist Press) -A reflection on the Rocky Horror Picture Show, queerness, and the question of acceptable transgression. Edited by Margot Atwell.

Best Fanzine:

• Stone Soup is a free-to-read newsletter archive featuring essays, short fiction, and community. This year, Stone Soup featured the Love Letters essay series in which we acknowledge, celebrate, and examine the objects and experiences that keep us going, even through the hardest of times.
